Main countries with significant oil shale resources include the United States, Australia, Jordan, Morocco, Israel, Brazil, China, Russia and Estonia.
Currently GOS has ongoing projects under development in Jordan, Australia, Morocco and Israel and has a core strategy to secure significant oil shale resources in these key oil shale jurisdictions with potential for supporting market scale production of up to 50,000 barrels of oil per day (bbl/d) per development project.
GOS is also working closely with local Natural Resources Authorities and local environmental organizations with a view of developing environmentally sustainable long term production of oil and other value added products.
